Rebecca Perttula

As you’ve most likely guessed at this point, my name is Rebecca. I’m an 18yo accountant and photographer from Sweden.

I’ve for a long time been interested in accountancy and photography – with accounting I first started to do the family business’ taxes when I was 15 and been doing them ever since then.

In 2021 I thought I could do with some formal qualifications, so I started studying with ACCA on an RQFL 2 course which was great fun.

Currently I’m enrolled in a Level 7 course in accountancy which has been going well and it has been really interesting. Additionally, I have been a member of the Swedish Accountant Union since the summer of 2021, where I’ve gotten familiar with REX – the Swedish (and Nordic) accounting standards.

I first started photography when I was about 10, using one of my dad’s old SLR’s, fully manual, which naturally was a good learning experience. That camera is still in use today and is the one all my 35mm film photos have been taken with.

So, considering I had been doing photography and accounting for a while at that point, I decided in the autumn of 2021 to register a business as a sole proprietorship in order to be able to sell my services to anyone wanting to buy them.
